Since the beginning of 2024, the card readers PURE SCT RFID convenience and REINER SCT RFID standard delivered with new firmware. For older card readers, an update to the current firmware from REINER SCT is recommended.
This can result in the certificates of a signature card no longer being recognized during the signature process.
Usually the certificate is recognized when the RFID function on the card reader switched off is.
To turn off the RFID function:
- On the card reader, press the arrow key at the bottom left.
- The display shows RFID: ON displayed.
- By pressing the arrow key at the bottom right the RFID display changes: ON/OFF.
- Select OFF and confirm with OK
